Our Senior Management Team…
Helen Woods-Waters
Helen – Is our Chief Executive Officer and she has responsibility for overseeing all strategic and operational aspects of St Anthony’s including the management of the senior management team and working closely with our Board of Trustees. Helen joined St Anthony’s in 2015.
Emily Stokes
Emily joined St Anthony’s in 2018 and is our HR Adviser, she has responsibility for overseeing all HR activities and people related projects. Emily is also an expert in HR systems and processes which are essential in the production of timely and accurate HR performance information which help inform managers and support compliance.
Tracey Nicholls
Tracey joined St Anthony’s in 2019 as our Finance Manager and has extensive finance-based experience having previously worked in both the public and education sector. Tracey oversees all finance-based activities and also reports to our board of Trustees.
Kim Cuthbertson
Kim is our Registered Care Manager and has worked with St Anthony’s since 2001. Kim manages our Home Care and our Extra Care services. She has a wealth of experience in supporting adults from many different client groups and has a wide and varied knowledge of the health & social sector.
Claire Dodd
Claire is our Day Care Manager and has worked with St Anthony's since 2021. Claire has over 18 years’ experience working within Health and Social Care sector and has extensive experience in supporting a range of vulnerable adults.
Karen Mulroy
Karen joined St Anthony’s in 2017 and is our Housing Support Manager. Karen has a wealth of housing experience. It is her responsibility to ensure the smooth running of all housing related activities at Conaty and Assisi House which includes the ongoing support of tenants to ensure they receive the best service possible and a safe and comfortable environment to live in.

Our Home Care team is led by our Registered Care Manager. Home Care in the community is split into 3 geographical areas which cover the East End of City and Wallsend. Each area is managed by a Care Co-ordinator, and consists of a Senior Care Worker and a team of dedicated Care Workers.

Housing with Care Team
Home Care Team
Our Housing with Care Team are based at our Housing with Care Facilities Assisi House and Conaty House and are led by the Housing with Care Manager and a team of dedicated Care Workers. Our Housing Support Manager also oversees the smooth running of all housing related activities supporting tenants at Conaty House and Assisi House.

Day Care Team
Day Care Team
Our Day Care team is led by our Day Care Manager who manages the delivery of the Day Care Service at our community centre based on Welbeck Road. The Senior Support Workers and Support Workers co-ordinate all aspects of care and the delivery of be-spoke activities for service users to enjoy throughout the day with help from our volunteers. The kitchen Manager and Assistant ensure that a range of healthy and dietary requirements are managed for all of our Service users. Our community centre domestic ensures our facilities are clean and safe for use.

Tim O'Grady - Chair
Tim has a Lifetime in education in a number of roles: teacher; community education worker; project evaluator; Local Authority Officer. His last role was secondary Head teacher at St Marys High School.
Catherine Atwell - Vice Chair & Chair People Culture & Performance
Catherine, has undertaken various senior HR roles within manufacturing, automotive, IT, and food manufacture. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personal and Development.
Roy Stanley - Chair Finance & Audit Committee
Roy is a North East of England based entrepreneur and an experienced business person having been a director of a number of public and private businesses. Roy has bought, owned and sold companies and is passionate about the North East and helping growing businesses with his entrepreneurial and strategic vision.
Michael Donnelly
Michael has worked within the Parish for the last 30 years serving as the former Head teacher at St Alban’s RC Primary. Michael brings extensive leadership, management and administration experience to the board.
Jim McLaughlin - Secretary
Jim has worked as a businessman in the local area for over 40 years and is now semi-retired. Jim is an active member of the local community and is also a member of St Anthony’s Parish.
Kim Davis
Kim has over 20 years’ experience in market research and engagement with Explain Market Research. This has included working with the NHS locally and across the UK on health related projects regarding service provision and long term behavioural change.
Andrew Clark
Andrew is architect and formerly managing director of a major regional architectural practice. He has been responsible for many significant buildings including the design of Conaty House and the Bostey building for St Anthony’s. He is also a carer for a family member with an enduring mental health issues.
Daryn Robinson
Daryn has many years experience in accountancy, finance and business and is an integral part of the Finance & Audit Committee. Daryn also sits on the Bostey Board of Trustees.
